The Powerlink PES System (Portable Energy System) is a series of mobile, hybrid battery energy storage solutions manufactured by PowerLink, designed for efficient and flexible power management in various off-grid and grid-connected applications.
Key Features
- Hybrid Power Integration: The system can integrate multiple energy sources, including the grid, diesel generators, and renewable sources like solar or wind power. This allows for continuous and stable power supply through multi-energy complementarity.
- Smart Energy Management (EMS): An intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) is central to the PES, allowing users to monitor and adjust operating strategies via a local HMI interface or remotely through a mobile app/web interface.
- Zero Emission & Quiet Operation: When running solely on battery power or with renewables, the system produces zero emissions and operates quietly, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments like events, urban construction sites, or healthcare facilities.
- High Mobility & Durability: The systems are built with a rugged, portable design, featuring forklift slots and integrated wheels for rapid deployment in various locations. They are suitable for harsh environments with an overall protection level of IP54.
- Scalable Battery Capacity: The PES series offers various power outputs and battery capacities, ranging from 100 kVA of power and 115.2 kWh of battery capacity up to 500 kVA and 576 kWh (or higher with additional modules).
- Safety Features: Equipped with a fire safety system, RCD leakage protector, and a multi-level Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Primary Applications
The Powerlink PES System is a versatile alternative to traditional power sources in many scenarios, including:
- Rental applications
- Industrial and commercial peak shaving (managing peak-load demands to reduce costs)
- Construction and mining sites
- Large-scale events and disaster relief efforts
- Heavy-duty electric vehicle charging
- Providing backup power during grid outages
- Off-grid operations
The system helps maximize the use of renewable energy, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, lower carbon emissions, and provide cost-effective energy solutions through smart management and flexible integration.
